Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Focus #43 by Lin Tianmiao was sold in the Moutarderie Nationale: The Gillion Crowet Collection auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. The price achieved of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,286.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lin Tianmiao have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Initiator in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 967,500.00 (€ 79,734.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Focus #43 von Lin Tianmiao wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Moutarderie Nationale: The Gillion Crowet Collection bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.286,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 70.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lin Tianmiao auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Initiator im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 967.500,00 (€ 79.734,23).
