Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Here? Or There? (Set Of Fifteen) by Lin Tianmiao was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. It changed hands for a price of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,945.48) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lin Tianmiao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Initiator in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 967,500.00 (€ 79,734.23).

Die Arbeit Here? Or There? (Set Of Fifteen) von Lin Tianmiao kam im April 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.945,48) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lin Tianmiao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Initiator im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 967.500,00 (€ 79.734,23).
