Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Marie at the Window, Hancock, New Hampshire by Lilla Cabot Perry was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in September this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 32,000.00 (€ 30,234.32) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Lilla Cabot Perry have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Girl Reading A Book in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 150,000.00 (€ 126,071.61).

Die Arbeit Marie at the Window, Hancock, New Hampshire von Lilla Cabot Perry kam im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 32.000,00 (€ 30.234,32) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
