Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 37,500.00 (€ 34,912.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lilla Cabot Perry - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Girl Reading A Book, which sold at auction in November 2017 for USD 150,000.00 (€ 126,071.61).
