Auction result well in line with expectations
The work In the Studio by Lilla Cabot Perry was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2008. The price achieved of USD 91,000.00 (€ 58,483.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lilla Cabot Perry - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Girl Reading A Book, which sold at auction in November 2017 for USD 150,000.00 (€ 126,071.61).
