Sold at the upper estimate price
In June 2016 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Art Contemporain, which included the work Sans Titre by Li Tianbing. The auction ended at the price of EUR 30,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Li Tianbing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Image Collective Devant La Porte in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 180,500.00 (€ 245,268.88).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2016 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Art Contemporain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre von Li Tianbing zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 30.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Li Tianbing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Image Collective Devant La Porte im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 180.500,00 (€ 245.268,88).
