Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Moi#1 by Li Tianbing for EUR 1,375.00. This price was achieved in the auction Collection Marianne et Pierre Nahon, l’art c’est la vie Online at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Tianbing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Image Collective Devant La Porte in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 180,500.00 (€ 245,268.88).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Moi#1 von Li Tianbing für EUR 1.375,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Collection Marianne et Pierre Nahon, l’art c’est la vie Online bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Tianbing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Image Collective Devant La Porte im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 180.500,00 (€ 245.268,88).
