Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work On The Way To School #2 by Li Tianbing for HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,614.55). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Asia: Kid at heART at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Tianbing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Image Collective Devant La Porte in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 180,500.00 (€ 245,268.88).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit On The Way To School #2 von Li Tianbing für HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.614,55) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia: Kid at heART bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Tianbing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Image Collective Devant La Porte im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 180.500,00 (€ 245.268,88).
