Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Phillips in 7 - held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York, which included the work Portrait of a Boy, Grey by Li Tianbing. The price achieved of USD 25,400.00 (€ 22,961.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Tianbing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Image Collective Devant La Porte in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 180,500.00 (€ 245,268.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Phillips in 7 - die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of a Boy, Grey von Li Tianbing zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 25.400,00 (€ 22.961,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Tianbing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Image Collective Devant La Porte im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 180.500,00 (€ 245.268,88).
