Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rising Mountain by Li Huayi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. The price achieved of HKD 2,000,000.00 (€ 231,962.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,600,000.00 – 2,600,000.00. Admittedly, works by Li Huayi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Forever Young in April last year with an auction result of HKD 12,475,000.00 (€ 1,508,318.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Rising Mountain von Li Huayi kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 2.000.000,00 (€ 231.962,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.600.000,00 – 2.600.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Li Huayi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Forever Young im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 12.475.000,00 (€ 1.508.318,31).
