Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings, which included the work Landscape by Li Huayi. The price achieved of HKD 1,512,000.00 (€ 174,955.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,200,000.00 – 2,200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Li Huayi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Forever Young in April last year with an auction result of HKD 12,475,000.00 (€ 1,508,318.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Li Huayi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.512.000,00 (€ 174.955,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.200.000,00 – 2.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Li Huayi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Forever Young im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 12.475.000,00 (€ 1.508.318,31).
