A top price for Li Huayi - as previously expected
The work Forever Young by Li Huayi was sold in the Modern Evening Auction auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 12,475,000.00 (€ 1,508,318.31) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 7,500,000.00 – 12,500,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Forever Young is the most expensive artwork by Li Huayi that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Forever Young von Li Huayi wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern Evening Auction bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 12.475.000,00 (€ 1.508.318,31) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 7.500.000,00 – 12.500.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Forever Young das teuerste Kunstwerk von Li Huayi, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
