Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Snowy Landscape by Li Huayi was auctioned at Christies in Cologne in May this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 2,000,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 2,016,000.00 (€ 241,639.95). Admittedly, works by Li Huayi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Forever Young in April last year with an auction result of HKD 12,475,000.00 (€ 1,508,318.31).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Snowy Landscape von Li Huayi kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in Köln zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 2.000.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 2.016.000,00 (€ 241.639,95) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Li Huayi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Forever Young im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 12.475.000,00 (€ 1.508.318,31).
