Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Heavenly Pond (Executed In 2008) by Li Chen was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April this year. The price achieved of HKD 744,000.00 (€ 759,769.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 600,000.00 – 900,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Li Chen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dragon-Riding Buddha (Executed In 2001), which sold at auction in April 2021 for HKD 17,975,000.00 (€ 1,924,505.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Heavenly Pond (Executed In 2008) von Li Chen kam im April diesen Jahres bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 744.000,00 (€ 759.769,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 600.000,00 – 900.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Li Chen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dragon-Riding Buddha (Executed In 2001) beobachtet, die im April 2021 für HKD 17.975.000,00 (€ 1.924.505,40) versteigert wurde.
