A top price for Li Chen
In April 2021 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Dragon-Riding Buddha (Executed In 2001) by Li Chen. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 17,975,000.00 (€ 1,924,505.40), 50% above the upper estimate. With this result, Dragon-Riding Buddha (Executed In 2001) is even the most expensive work of art by Li Chen that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Li Chen
Im April 2021 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dragon-Riding Buddha (Executed In 2001) von Li Chen zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 17.975.000,00 (€ 1.924.505,40) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Dragon-Riding Buddha (Executed In 2001) sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Li Chen, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
