Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (3) by Lesley Vance was auctioned at Phillips in London in February 2020. The price achieved of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 50,706.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lesley Vance - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in June 2018 for GBP 97,500.00 (€ 110,191.62).

Die Arbeit Untitled (3) von Lesley Vance kam im Februar 2020 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 50.706,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lesley Vance mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juni 2018 für GBP 97.500,00 (€ 110.191,62) versteigert wurde.
