This artwork by Lesley Vance achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in an online auction in February last year. In the NOISE FOR NOW Benefit Auction auction, the work without title sold for USD 88,200.00 (€ 78,581.61) - well above the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Lesley Vance; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in June 2018 with the realized price of GBP 97,500.00 (€ 110,191.62).
