The work Untitled (25) by Lesley Vance was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in New York in October 2020. The »bidding war« ended at USD 52,920.00 (€ 45,436.59), 32% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lesley Vance - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in June 2018 for GBP 97,500.00 (€ 110,191.62).

Die Arbeit Untitled (25) von Lesley Vance wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 52.920,00 (€ 45.436,59) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Lesley Vance mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juni 2018 für GBP 97.500,00 (€ 110.191,62) versteigert wurde.
