In November 2011 Phillips in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Wall Street, New York City by Leonard Freed. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,545.14), 58% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Leonard Freed; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Selected images from Police Work sold at auction in October 2016 with the realized price of USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,262.73).

Im November 2011 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Wall Street, New York City von Leonard Freed zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.545,14) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Leonard Freed; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Selected images from Police Work im Oktober 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 10.262,73).
