Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Still life with armchair by Leon Francesco Morrocco for GBP 625.00 (€ 778.72). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 700.00 – 900.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leon Francesco Morrocco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sunlight On Fishermen'S Houses, Procida, Bay Of Naples in August 2006 with an auction result of GBP 13,200.00 (€ 19,629.23).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still life with armchair von Leon Francesco Morrocco für GBP 625,00 (€ 778,72) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 700,00 – 900,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leon Francesco Morrocco erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sunlight On Fishermen'S Houses, Procida, Bay Of Naples im August 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.200,00 (€ 19.629,23).
