Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Beached Boats, Gourdon by Leon Francesco Morrocco was sold in the Scottish Art auction at Bonhams in Paris in October this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,792.00 (€ 2,057.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Leon Francesco Morrocco have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sunlight On Fishermen'S Houses, Procida, Bay Of Naples in August 2006 with an auction result of GBP 13,200.00 (€ 19,629.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Beached Boats, Gourdon von Leon Francesco Morrocco wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Scottish Art bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.792,00 (€ 2.057,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leon Francesco Morrocco auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sunlight On Fishermen'S Houses, Procida, Bay Of Naples im August 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.200,00 (€ 19.629,23).
