The work Still Life With A Blue Coffee Pot; Still Life With Exotic Birds And A Slice Of Watermelon by Leon Francesco Morrocco was sold in the Scottish Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in May 2008. The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 7,632.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leon Francesco Morrocco - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sunlight On Fishermen'S Houses, Procida, Bay Of Naples, which sold at auction in August 2006 for GBP 13,200.00 (€ 19,629.23).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 7.632,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden.
