Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fishing Gear Against A Sea Wall by Leon Francesco Morrocco was sold in the Gleneagles Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in August 2006. The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,922.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leon Francesco Morrocco - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sunlight On Fishermen'S Houses, Procida, Bay Of Naples, which sold at auction in August 2006 for GBP 13,200.00 (€ 19,629.23).

Die Arbeit Fishing Gear Against A Sea Wall von Leon Francesco Morrocco wurde im August 2006 in der Auktion Gleneagles Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.922,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden.
