Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Going home after a day's work by Leo Eland was sold in the Nineteen to Now, incl. Topographical Observations auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2012. The price achieved of EUR 1,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Leo Eland have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Indonesian Villagers Passing A Batak House in March 2013 with an auction result of EUR 5,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Going home after a day's work von Leo Eland wurde im September 2012 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now, incl. Topographical Observations bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leo Eland auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Indonesian Villagers Passing A Batak House im März 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.000,00.
