The work Daily life around the pagoda by Leo Eland was sold in the Nineteen to Now including Topographical Observations auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2011. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,750.00 17% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leo Eland - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Indonesian Villagers Passing A Batak House, which sold at auction in March 2013 for EUR 5,000.00.

Die Arbeit Daily life around the pagoda von Leo Eland wurde im September 2011 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now including Topographical Observations bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.750,00 und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Leo Eland mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Indonesian Villagers Passing A Batak House beobachtet, die im März 2013 für EUR 5.000,00 versteigert wurde.
