Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2001 Christies in New York held the auction JAPANESE AND KOREAN ART, which included this untitled work by Lee Ungno. The price achieved of USD 1,292.50 (€ 1,437.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,200.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lee Ungno achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 43,343.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2001 führte Christies in New York die Auktion JAPANESE AND KOREAN ART durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Lee Ungno zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.292,50 (€ 1.437,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.200,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lee Ungno erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 43.343,06).
