A top price for Lee Ungno - as previously expected
In May 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included this untitled work by Lee Ungno. The price achieved of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 43,343.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Lee Ungno that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Lee Ungno zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 43.343,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Lee Ungno, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
