Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2015 Christies in London held the auction First Open/LDN, which included this untitled work by Lee Lozano. The price achieved of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 23,699.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lee Lozano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work No title in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 602,500.00 (€ 462,181.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion First Open/LDN durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Lee Lozano zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 23.699,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lee Lozano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit No title im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 602.500,00 (€ 462.181,65).
