Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Leander Engström could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Moderna auction, the work "Lappflickan" changed hands for SEK 90,000.00 (€ 9,096.88) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 100,000.00 – 125,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leander Engström achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Badstranden" in May 2019 with an auction result of SEK 4,500,000.00 (€ 424,208.45).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Leander Engström konnte im Oktober 2016 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Moderna wechselte die Arbeit "Lappflickan" für SEK 90.000,00 (€ 9.096,88) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 100.000,00 – 125.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leander Engström erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Badstranden" im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 4.500.000,00 (€ 424.208,45).
