Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Leander Engström achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2021. In the Modern Art + Design auction, the work Motif from Abisko sold for SEK 260,000.00 (€ 25,361.92) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 125,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leander Engström achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Badstranden" in May 2019 with an auction result of SEK 4,500,000.00 (€ 424,208.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Leander Engström erzielte im November 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art + Design wurde die Arbeit Motif from Abisko für SEK 260.000,00 (€ 25.361,92) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 125.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leander Engström erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Badstranden" im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 4.500.000,00 (€ 424.208,45).
