Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November last year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Art + Design, which included the work By the creek by Leander Engström. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 72,000.00 (€ 6,563.21), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leander Engström achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Badstranden" in May 2019 with an auction result of SEK 4,500,000.00 (€ 424,208.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Art + Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit By the creek von Leander Engström zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 72.000,00 (€ 6.563,21) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leander Engström erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Badstranden" im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 4.500.000,00 (€ 424.208,45).
