A top price for Leander Engström - as previously expected
The work "Badstranden" by Leander Engström was sold in the Modern Art + Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2019. The result of SEK 4,500,000.00 (€ 424,208.45) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 4,500,000.00 – 5,000,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, "Badstranden" is the most expensive artwork by Leander Engström that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit "Badstranden" von Leander Engström wurde im Mai 2019 in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 4.500.000,00 (€ 424.208,45) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 4.500.000,00 – 5.000.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist "Badstranden" das teuerste Kunstwerk von Leander Engström, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
