Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2020 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Art + Design, which included the work Norweigan coast by Leander Engström. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 480,000.00 (€ 45,901.52), 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Leander Engström have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Badstranden" in May 2019 with an auction result of SEK 4,500,000.00 (€ 424,208.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2020 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Art + Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Norweigan coast von Leander Engström zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 480.000,00 (€ 45.901,52) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leander Engström auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Badstranden" im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 4.500.000,00 (€ 424.208,45).
