In December 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Online | New York, which included this untitled work by Laylah Ali. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,896.86), 46% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Laylah Ali have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 29,800.00 (€ 19,141.83).

Im Dezember 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Online | New York durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Laylah Ali zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.896,86) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Laylah Ali auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 29.800,00 (€ 19.141,83).
