Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Swank by Lawson Wood was auctioned at Bonhams in London in December this year. The price achieved of GBP 512.00 (€ 589.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Lawson Wood have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Gran'pop starts a poultry farm in December 2002 with an auction result of GBP 3,525.00 (€ 5,411.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Swank von Lawson Wood kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 512,00 (€ 589,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lawson Wood auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Gran'pop starts a poultry farm im Dezember 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.525,00 (€ 5.411,05).
