Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Midsommar i Rättvik", 1988. by Lars Tunbjörk was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in April last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 35,000.00 – 40,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 32,000.00 (€ 3,097.66). Other works by Lars Tunbjörk have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October this year by the work "Flemingsberg", 1989 at SEK 60,000.00 (€ 5,081.38).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Midsommar i Rättvik", 1988. von Lars Tunbjörk im April letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 35.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 32.000,00 (€ 3.097,66) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Lars Tunbjörk wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres die Arbeit "Flemingsberg", 1989 mit SEK 60.000,00 (€ 5.081,38).
