Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Lars Englund was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in April this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 20,000.00 (€ 1,768.12). Admittedly, works by Lars Englund have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Pars pro toto" in April 2013 with an auction result of SEK 140,000.00 (€ 16,394.29).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Lars Englund im April diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 20.000,00 (€ 1.768,12) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lars Englund auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Pars pro toto" im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 140.000,00 (€ 16.394,29).
