Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Pars pro toto" by Lars Englund was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in April last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 65,000.00 (€ 6,292.11). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lars Englund - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Pars pro toto", which sold at auction in April 2013 for SEK 140,000.00 (€ 16,394.29).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Pars pro toto" von Lars Englund im April letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 65.000,00 (€ 6.292,11) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Lars Englund mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Pars pro toto" beobachtet, die im April 2013 für SEK 140.000,00 (€ 16.394,29) versteigert wurde.
