Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Lars Englund could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in April last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art & Design auction, the work "Borderline" changed hands for SEK 30,000.00 (€ 2,904.05) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 35,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lars Englund have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Pars pro toto" in April 2013 with an auction result of SEK 140,000.00 (€ 16,394.29).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lars Englund konnte im April letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design wechselte die Arbeit "Borderline" für SEK 30.000,00 (€ 2.904,05) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 35.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lars Englund auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Pars pro toto" im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 140.000,00 (€ 16.394,29).
