Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (5 works) by Larry Zox was sold in the Geometric AbstractionPrints & Multiples Online auction at Bonhams in New York in February 2020. The price achieved of USD 2,805.00 (€ 2,544.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Larry Zox achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Quaminis in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 29,033.90).

Die Arbeit Untitled (5 works) von Larry Zox wurde im Februar 2020 in der Auktion Geometric AbstractionPrints & Multiples Online bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.805,00 (€ 2.544,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Larry Zox erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Quaminis im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 29.033,90).
