Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sayronnella by Larry Poons was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2021. The price achieved of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 55,800.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 35,000.00 – 55,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Larry Poons achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jessica's Hartford in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 1,150,000.00 (€ 1,043,651.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sayronnella von Larry Poons kam im März 2021 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 47.500,00 (€ 55.800,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 35.000,00 – 55.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Larry Poons erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jessica's Hartford im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.150.000,00 (€ 1.043.651,87).
