Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Smoky Fall Days (Ancestors) by Larry Poons was auctioned at Christies in London in June this year. It achieved a price of GBP 65,520.00 (€ 76,254.00), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Larry Poons achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jessica's Hartford in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 1,150,000.00 (€ 1,043,651.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Smoky Fall Days (Ancestors) von Larry Poons kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 65.520,00 (€ 76.254,00) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Larry Poons erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jessica's Hartford im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.150.000,00 (€ 1.043.651,87).
