Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Online | New York, which included the work I. Night Lite | II. Untitled 2 Works by Lamar Peterson. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,913.49). Other works by Lamar Peterson have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,587.77) in May 2019 for the work without title.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Online | New York durch, in der auch die Arbeit I. Night Lite | II. Untitled 2 Works von Lamar Peterson zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.913,49) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Lamar Peterson haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.587,77) im Mai 2019 für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet.
