Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Converging Territories #2 by Lalla Essaydi was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in London in September 2020. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,134.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lalla Essaydi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bullets Revisited #3 in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 61,702.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Converging Territories #2 von Lalla Essaydi wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.134,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lalla Essaydi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bullets Revisited #3 im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 61.702,61).
