Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Brad by Kurt Kauper was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in February 2017. The price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,354.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kurt Kauper achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cary Grant #3 in December 2021 with an auction result of USD 69,300.00 (€ 61,229.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Brad von Kurt Kauper wurde im Februar 2017 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.354,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kurt Kauper erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cary Grant #3 im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 69.300,00 (€ 61.229,90).
