Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sunset at Danshui by Guo Bochuan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2008. The price achieved of HKD 2,647,500.00 (€ 217,959.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 2,500,000.00 – 3,000,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guo Bochuan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Forbidden City in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 27,207,500.00 (€ 2,242,241.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sunset at Danshui von Guo Bochuan kam im Mai 2008 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 2.647.500,00 (€ 217.959,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 2.500.000,00 – 3.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guo Bochuan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Forbidden City im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 27.207.500,00 (€ 2.242.241,94).
