Sold at the lower estimate price
In October 2013 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Chinese Art, which included the work Nude by Guo Bochuan. The result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 47,447.40) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 500,000.00 – 600,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guo Bochuan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Forbidden City in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 27,207,500.00 (€ 2,242,241.94).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Oktober 2013 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nude von Guo Bochuan zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 47.447,40) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 500.000,00 – 600.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guo Bochuan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Forbidden City im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 27.207.500,00 (€ 2.242.241,94).
