Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Feast by Guo Bochuan was sold in the 20TH CENTURY CHINESE ART auction at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2003. The price achieved of HKD 501,900.00 (€ 52,269.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 450,000.00 – 550,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guo Bochuan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Forbidden City in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 27,207,500.00 (€ 2,242,241.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Feast von Guo Bochuan wurde im Juli 2003 in der Auktion 20TH CENTURY CHINESE ART bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 501.900,00 (€ 52.269,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 450.000,00 – 550.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guo Bochuan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Forbidden City im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 27.207.500,00 (€ 2.242.241,94).
