Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Confucian Temple, Tainan by Guo Bochuan was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2010. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 700,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 740,000.00 (€ 68,705.92). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guo Bochuan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Forbidden City in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 27,207,500.00 (€ 2,242,241.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Confucian Temple, Tainan von Guo Bochuan kam im Oktober 2010 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 700.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 740.000,00 (€ 68.705,92) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guo Bochuan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Forbidden City im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 27.207.500,00 (€ 2.242.241,94).
