Auction result misses estimated price range
In December this year a collector was able to acquire the work Framing Devices by Kristy Chan for USD 6,033.00 (€ 5,453.81). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York at Phillips in 7 - and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kristy Chan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Weather Going Bananas in December 2021 with an auction result of GBP 60,480.00 (€ 72,139.95).
